Midheaven

The point at the top of a birth chart, the noon mark. Symbolically, your public role, the work you are seen doing.

The midheaven, often written MC (from Latin medium coeli, "middle of the sky"), is the highest point the Sun reaches in your sky on the day of your birth — in chart terms, the cusp of the 10th house.

Symbolically the MC is your public face: the work you are known for, the role you play in the world rather than in private. Classical astrology pairs it with reputation, career, and visible achievement. Modern astrology adds the question of vocation — what you are doing here, not just what pays the bills.

Like the ascendant, the MC requires exact birth time and place to compute, so daily Sun-sign forecasts cannot use it. AIstra names the MC on Zodified only as glossary context. If you have your natal chart calculated elsewhere, you'll see your MC marked at the top.
